Della is built on a simple belief: good food has a way of bringing people together and nourishing body, senses, and soul.

That belief is carried forward by Erica and Daniel, who share a lifelong love of food, family, and the outdoors. From fermenting local produce into kimchi and sauerkraut to sourcing quality ingredients and cooking for the people they love, food has always been a central part of their lives.

After living in Germany and Boston, Erica and Daniel found their home in Hailey, Idaho, in the Wood River Valley. With Daniel’s family roots in organic farming in Germany, they bring a deep respect for the land, seasonal ingredients, local sourcing, and the belief that the best meals begin with the best ingredients.

 

Café Della was originally founded by Liza and Ashley, two female entrepreneurs with a vision to bring nourishing, thoughtfully prepared food to the Wood River Valley. Today, Erica and Daniel are proud to carry that legacy forward while continuing to grow Della as a warm, welcoming place for morning coffee, everyday meals, special gatherings, and food made with care.
